The Big Bang Theory - The Duct Tape Experiment

Scene: Leonard and Sheldon's apartment.

Penny walks across the hall and bursts through the door without knocking.
"Oh hey Sheldon, just grabbing some coffee quick I've run out, if you don't mind"
"I don't see why not. I mean you steal our wifi why not take our coffee too" he says whilst rustling through his kitchen drawers and cupboards.
"Har har, very funny. What're you looking for?" she asks whilst walking over to the kitchen area.
"Got it!" Sheldon shouts with relief as he raises his hand in the air, holding some black duct tape. "That saves venturing outside and having to participate in some mindless small talk to the pre-pubescent adolescent who serves me at the store"
Penny giggled. "Why do you want some duct tape? Or wait, I dont care, later!"
"Wait! If you must know, I'm doing an experiment to test the tensile strength and durability of duct tape, as I have heard that a single roll of duct tape can hold up and support an average sized car, and well thats just riduculous!" Sheldon says.
"Seriously? This is what you scientists do in your free time?" Penny questions
"Well, no, but everyone is busy and I'm bored. Would you like to help?
"Um.. Sure, why not, not like I've got anything better to do" Penny says enthusiastically
"Oh goodie, I kind of needed a specimen that has a bit more upper body strength than me for a few of the tests, and I don't have much hope with the rest of our friends do I"
"I guess not, so what do you want me to do?" Penny says as she walks over to the sofa with Sheldon.
"Okay, well for the first test.. sit down put your hands behinds your back for me and cross your wrists"
"Um.. okay" Penny says hesitantly as she does as he says.
"This may cause a small amount of discomfort" Sheldon explains as he wraps the duct tape around Penny's wrists several times.
"Ow! Can't you do these types of experiments at work, you know with all your fancy machines?!"
"Well no ones here to drive me, so I have had to do them here! Plus anyway, this is fun right?"
"Yeah, maybe for you!" Penny says with anger.
"Okay, now try and free your wrists"
Penny sits there for a good five minutes squirming and grunting trying to remove the tape from her wrists.
"No good, I can't get it off!"
"Okay, tensile strength proving efficient so far" Sheldon says as he writes down some notes. "Now let's try this" he says as he starts wrapping duct tape around Penny's ankles
"Hey I haven't got the first part off yet!" Penny shouts
"We have to try it in different areas, and we don't want to create anomalies by interfering with our previous experiment, simple science Penny"
"Whatever just hurry up" Penny sighed as she continued to try and release the bonds on her wrists.
"Okay, thats a sufficient amount, try that" Sheldon says.
Penny squirms for a minute or so. "Nope, you've used too much, can I go now?"
"You said you'd help! I don't have enough results yet"
"Fine, where next?
"I think a good place to test next would be the torso" Shelson says as he starts wrapping duct tape around her stomach, and then under and over her breasts, making them bulge out of her tight top more. "There, that should do it"
Penny struggled, leaning forwards and backwards, twisting her shoulders and wrists trying to get free from the tape. She started to get more and more frustrated.
"Okay, this is riduculous now, let me go"
"Oh fine!" Sheldon says with anger as he walks towards the kitchen to get some scissors to cut her out.

After a good five minutes of looking around, Sheldon could not find any scissors and Penny was getting more and more impatient.
"Can't you use a knife or something?"
"But that's dangerous, I could hurt myself!" Sheldon says with fear.
"I'm gonna hurt you in a minute if you dont let me out!"
"That's highly unlikely, you can barely move?" Sheldon said with a smirk.

Penny and Sheldon continued to argue for the next 20 minutes or so, Penny was furious and had been shouting very loudly.

Someone starts banging on the door. "Police, open up"
Sheldon and Penny both turns their heads quickly to the door, Sheldon's eyes open wide as he turns to Penny who is opening her mouth getting ready to scream. He quickly clasps his hand over her mouth and silences her. "Just a second!" Sheldon shouts.
Sheldon pulls penny up onto her feet and drags her towards his bedroom, hand still secured over her mouth whilst she shouts muffled words.
"mmmph mmph!"
Sheldon pushes Penny into his room onto his bed and closes the door behind him. "I know no ones allowed in my room but this is an exception, stop shouting!
"I WILL NOT STOP SHOUTING!" Penny bellowed as she sat up on the edge of his bed.
"Oh for goodness sake, okay then, I have another solution" Sheldon says as he opens his drawer on his bedside table, retrieving a sock and whilst pulling out the duct tape from his pocket.
"Don't you dare shel-- MMMPH" Penny was cut off by Sheldon shoving one of his socks into her mouth. He quickly ripped off a strip of the black duct tape and pressed it over her mouth. "MMMMPPH!!" Penny continued to scream out muffled words.
Sheldon added two more strips of the duct tape over her mouth, securing the sock in her mouth and making her completely unable to talk.
"Wow, I never knew duct tape was this effective, it can even shut YOU up!"
"mmmpph mmph mmmph"
"Okay, now stay here, well, like you have a choice, ha-ha" Sheldon says as he attempts to laugh

The door opens to the apartment, Sheldon answers.
"Hello, how may I help you today gentlemen?"
"We have had several reports of a disturbance up in your room, is everything okay?" One of the two police officers asked.
"Why yes, everything is fine officers, I just had a small argument with my neighbour, she umm.. she didn't know the difference between Star Wars and Star Trek!"
The two officers stood their with a confused look on their face, they realised they didn't really want to get involved in something that seemed so petty.
"Okay sir, well just keep the noise down okay, this is a warning" The other officer said.
"Okay, thank you" Sheldon says as he quickly shut the door.
"Phew" Sheldon breathed a sigh of relief.
The muffled Penny hopped out into the living room, giving evil looks at Sheldon.
"Well that experiment was fun, maybe we should work together again" he said as he turned on the tv and sat down in his spot on the sofa.
